This policy explains what information Moving The Military collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers movingthemilitary.com, our free downloads and quizzes, the Moving The Military Community membership, our coaching calls, our emails, and our social media messages.
"Moving The Military," "we," "us" and "our" mean DW Coaching LLC and Marne7 Solutions LLC, operated by Deana Watson and Matt Gruidl. Questions about this policy go to [email protected] or [email protected].
What we collect
Information you give us
- Free downloads, quizzes and forms: your name and email, and sometimes your phone number, market or installation, and your answers to quiz questions.
- Purchases and membership: your name, email and billing details. Payments are processed by Kajabi Payments and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.
- Community and coaching: your profile details, the posts and comments you share in the community, and anything you share on live calls.
- Messages: what you send us by email, or by direct message on Instagram or Facebook, including messages handled by our automated messaging tool.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: your IP address, browser, device type, the pages you visit, and how you found our site.
- Cookies and tracking pixels: small files and code that help our site work, measure our ads, and show our ads to people likely to find them useful. Details are in the Cookies and advertising section below.
- Email activity: whether you open our emails and which links you click.
How we use it
- Deliver what you asked for: downloads, purchases, membership access, coaching calls and community features.
- Send the emails you signed up for, including newsletters, product updates and offers. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- Run billing, answer support questions, and send account and receipt emails.
- Understand what's working on our site and in our content so we can improve it.
- Measure our advertising and show our ads to people likely to be interested.
- Protect our site, our members and our business, and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:
- Kajabi: hosts our website, checkout, membership, community and email
- Kajabi Payments and its payment processors: process payments
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): advertising measurement and direct messages
- ManyChat: automated replies to Instagram and Facebook messages
- Zoom: live coaching calls and recordings
- Google Workspace: email and file storage
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
Cookies and advertising
Our site uses cookies, plus the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. Together they tell us when someone visits a page, signs up or buys, so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested. Meta may combine this with information it already has about you under its own privacy policy.
Your choices:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work without them.
- Adjust how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
- Opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.
Emails
When you download something, take a quiz, buy something or join the membership, we'll email you. That includes what you requested, plus our newsletter and occasional offers.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails. If you're a paying member or customer, you'll still get account, billing and delivery emails.
Community posts and recorded calls
What you post in the community can be seen by other members. Don't share anything there you want kept private, and never share a client's personal or financial details.
We record our live coaching calls and share the recordings with members. If you speak or turn your camera on, your name, voice and image may appear in a recording. You can stay off camera and use the chat if you'd prefer.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you're on our list or a member, and as long as we need it for billing, taxes and legal records. After that we delete it or strip out anything that identifies you.
How we protect it
We use trusted platforms with standard security protections, and we limit who on our team can see your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Depending on the state you live in, you may have more rights, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising. Email us at either address below and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
Age
Our site and programs are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll also let members know by email.
